UDA provides students with the opportunity to broaden their social and cultural horizons through unique soccer experiences in the British Isles during their first and second years, and in Spain or Portugal for graduating seniors.

​The British Isles Tour takes place at the end of each season, while the European Continental Tour occurs once every three years.

​“British Isles Tour”

UDA offers students a chance to explore the British Isles through a series of end-of-season tours in May. These tours are designed to enrich students' cultural experiences during their time studying and playing soccer in Britain by showcasing regions they might not otherwise visit.

​Tour Details

The UDA British Isles Tour rotates annually between Scotland, England, and Wales, occurring at the end of each playing season in May. The four-night, five-day tour includes:

• Visits to a Premier League or league club stadium.
• A professional training session conducted by a regional coach.

​Typical Tour Format

• Four nights in a three- or four-star hotel.
• A visit to a Premier League or league stadium.
• Two matches against local opposition.
• Two training sessions, including one led by a professional coach from the region.
• Social and cultural excursions within the area.
• Transportation, coaching, games, and accommodation, including breakfast and one additional meal (lunch or dinner, depending on the schedule).

​Who Can Attend?

• 2025: Open to 32 men and UDA at UOG women
• 2026: Open to 25 men and 25 women for UDA at Chester and Gloucestershire
• 2027 and 2028: TBD (At least 25 men and 25 women)
• If spots remain after the deposit deadline, second- and third-year players may also attend.
