Ohio Prospect Camp for UDA Men’s & Women’s Programs​

Train. Be evaluated. Explore your UK university pathway.

This one-day Prospect Camp is designed for student-athletes who want to learn more about University Degrees Abroad and the opportunity to earn an undergraduate degree in the UK while continuing to train and compete in a professional soccer academy environment.

UDA partners with three universities in England — the University of Bath, the University of Chester, and the University of Gloucestershire — offering student-athletes a unique pathway that combines university study, high-level soccer development, and international experience.

Players will take part in technical training, small-sided games, match play, and a UDA academy presentation. Families are welcome to attend the presentation and final Q&A session to learn more about academics, admissions, university life, and the UDA pathway.

  • Women graduating in 2027–2030
  • Men graduating in 2027–2028

Capacity: Limited to 20 men and 20 women

Objective:
Create a meaningful evaluation and learning experience where players can train with UDA staff, compete in game environments, and learn more about the academic and athletic opportunities available through UDA’s UK academy programs.

This is more than a soccer camp — it is an introduction to a university pathway that combines academics, soccer development, and international experience.

UDA gives student-athletes the opportunity to earn their undergraduate degree in three years while training and competing within a professional soccer academy structure fully integrated into university life.

At the Ohio Prospect Camp, players and families will have the opportunity to connect with UDA staff, learn about all three UK university academy partners, and better understand what makes the UDA pathway unique.

The day is designed to give players a true feel for the UDA environment through training, small-sided play, match play, presentations, and opportunities for follow-up academic conversations.

Players should bring appropriate training gear, footwear, water, and anything needed for both indoor and outdoor play depending on weather and facility use.

UDA’s academy model allows students to be fully integrated into university life while continuing to develop as players through structured training, competition, coaching, and support.

Event Schedule


Saturday, November 7, 2026

9:00 AM — Registration
Classroom check-in and Capelli training shirt pickup.

9:30 AM – 10:30 AM — Technical Session
Training session led by UDA staff.

10:45 AM – 11:45 AM — Small-Sided Games
8v8 game format.

12:00 PM — Lunch Break
Players will have a lunch break before the afternoon presentation and match play.

1:30 PM – 2:30 PM — UDA Academy Presentation
Presentation covering UDA’s university academy pathways at the University of Bath, University of Chester, and University of Gloucestershire.

2:45 PM – 4:45 PM — Match Play
11v11 games.
8v8 format may be used if the event is moved indoors.

5:00 PM — Final Q&A and Individual Meetings
Final Q&A for players and families, with individual meeting opportunities for the 2027 incoming group.
A sign-up sheet will also be available for students requesting individual academic calls.

5:30 PM — Prospect Camp Concludes
