High school soccer players can experience UDA coaching and discover a different path to university soccer in England this November For ambitious soccer players, the end of high school does not have to mean choosing between continuing to pursue the game and preparing for a meaningful career. This November, University Degrees Abroad Soccer is bringing that message directly to players and families across the United States with a six-stop Fall ID Camp Tour running November 7–14, 2026. The sessions will be led by UDA UK Program Director John Dyke, a UEFA A-licensed coach with extensive experience developing players ages 17–21, as well as previous coaching and leadership experience with Manchester City and City Football Group. The tour will visit Ohio, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania and is open to boys and girls ages 14–17, including rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Players will have the opportunity to experience UDA’s coaching environment, compete in front of UDA coaches and recruiters, meet members of the UDA team, and learn how studying and playing soccer in England could become part of their future. Players and families will also learn about UDA’s university pathways, academics, admissions, enrollment, student life in England, and what it means to combine university study with soccer development from September through June. Led by UDA UK Program Director John DykeThe Fall ID Camp Tour will be led by John Dyke, UDA UK Program Director and UEFA A-licensed coach. John has extensive experience developing players in the 17–21 age group, including previous coaching and leadership experience with Manchester City and City Football Group. Players attending the tour will have the opportunity to experience John’s coaching approach firsthand and gain a better understanding of the standards, expectations, and mindset required within UDA’s programs in England. John will be joined by members of UDA’s experienced coaching and recruitment team. What If University Soccer Looked Different?For many US student-athletes, the traditional American college route can feel like the only option after high school. UDA offers another possibility. Student-athletes can pursue a respected university degree in England while continuing to train and compete throughout the academic year. Many UK undergraduate degrees can be completed in three years, allowing students to focus earlier on their chosen field of study. At the same time, UDA players train and compete from September through June in an environment designed to support their technical, tactical, physical, and personal development. But the experience is about more than soccer. Living and studying abroad also gives students the opportunity to build independence, resilience, confidence, cultural awareness, and international experience—all while preparing for life and a career beyond the game.
