Through the SPARC program, we collaborate with each Universities' Careers Offices and Employability Resources to ensure our students have opportunities to strengthen employment potential. ​

We supplement and complement university offerings through ongoing individual student relationships, facilitating group conversations and presentations, cultivating a portfolio of sought-after skills desired by employers, providing guidance and support for job applications, offering feedback and practice on job search tools and techniques, and tapping into valuable advice and insights from alumni and industry connections.​

Scott generates opportunities for UDA Soccer Academy students to prepare for life and career success through the UDA SPARC Program. He holds a PhD in management and marketing from Arizona State University, an MBA in international business from the University of San Francisco, and a BS in business administration-marketing from California State University, Fresno, all in the USA. ​

Scott also lived in the UK and taught for four years at the University of Greenwich, where he designed professional development and leadership courses for third year students, built strong external partnerships through an employability council (which included the London 2012 Olympics Organizing Committee), and conducted practice assessment centers and team-building  activities for students in conjunction with Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK and Towergate Insurance. 

Drawing on his first career as a marketing executive responsible for mentoring and developing successful project teams, Scott has directly advised hundreds of students on career preparation and supervised their internships (work placement) as a professor, program director, and business school Dean over three decades in the US and UK. Through his experiences and current insights into employability, Scott taps into each student’s unique experiences and strengths, leveraging their career readiness competencies through supportive feedback and networking with employer advisors, industry partners, and the entire UDA Soccer Academy family. 

​In 2017, the European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship recognized Scott for delivering the Best Professional Development Workshop for students at the Cork Institute of Technology in Ireland.

Dr Scott will also head the UDA SUCCESS Foundation to be launched in Sept 2023.
